Today, we are going to examine the most popular topic in today’s world. These topics are Artificial Intelligence and subsets of AI. First of all, we have to find an answer about what artificial intelligence is and we are going to explain other concepts.

The short answer to What is Artificial Intelligence is that it depends on who you ask. If we ask a layman. They might link it to robots. They would say Artificial Intelligence is a Terminator-like figure that can act and think on its own. But if you ask AI researchers, they would say that it is a set of algorithms that can produce results. So to summarize, Artificial Intelligence makes it possible for machines to learn experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks.

Probably you have heard about many AI examples like chess-playing computers, self-driving cars, object detection, natural language processing, and so on. All of them are produced by data. Computers can be trained to accomplish specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing patterns in the data. Even though it was coined in the 1950s, it has become more popular in the last ten years due to increasing data volumes and computing power, and storage.

Before we look at examples of AI we shouldn’t be scared, the AI won’t replace our works. Most people worry about losing their jobs. People always feared change after every industrial revolution and invention. If you ask me, I definitely support the idea, AI will change everything but we will keep up with it.

To understand How Artificial Intelligence works, we need to deep dive into the various subdomains of AI and understand how those domains could be applied to the various fields of the industry.

Machine Learning 🚀

It provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it to learn for themselves. One example of that how it is used in Netflix. Netflix members enjoy hundreds of millions content per day. Netflix invests continuously to improve members’ experience. it consistently needs to recommend new content for members’ personalization. They use recommendation algorithms to create a catalog for every member and they have to manage and create advertisement methods by evaluating data.

Deep Learning 🚀

Deep Learning is a sub-field of machine learning concerned with algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain called artificial neural networks. Deep learning attempts to mimic the human brain. It aims to learn a large amount of data like our brain. If we give an example to deep learning, chatbots and service bots are effective fields of deep learning.

Chatbots and service bots that provide customer service for a lot of companies are able to respond in an intelligent and helpful way to an increasing amount of auditory and text questions thanks to deep learning.
